About the Screen Resolution Checker
This tool detects your screen resolution, viewport size, device pixel ratio, color depth, and orientation in real-time. It updates automatically when you resize your browser window or rotate your device. Useful for web developers testing responsive designs, or anyone who needs to know their display specifications. All detection happens client-side using standard browser APIs.
Screen Resolution vs Viewport Size
Screen resolution is the total number of pixels your display can show. Viewport size is the actual area available to the web page inside the browser window, excluding toolbars and scrollbars. Device pixel ratio (DPR) indicates how many physical pixels are used per CSS pixel, which is greater than 1 on Retina/HiDPI displays.
